Ives No. 82 Transom Chains

Transom chains can be used for many purposes, usually to limit the opening angle of a hinged door, window, or desktop. Ideally, the mounting plates should be equidistant from the hinge pin. Longer chains have more angular advantage for heavy use. These transom chains are plated steel and thus are susceptible to rust.
