This type of sash lock draws the meeting rail together as it is engaged. Helps to minimize air infiltration at the meeting rail. Requires a wide check rail, see measurements below.

This lock has other uses also. Commonly used to hold table leaves together.

Lock measurement: 2-3/8" wide x 1-3/8" deep.

Strike measurement: 2-7/32" wide x 9/16" deep.
