Closet Spindle

This is an old fashioned closet spindle for use with old fashioned door knobs.

Used when a door knob is not desired on the inside of a closet door.

A small hole 9/16" is drilled through the door to allow the square spindle to engage a mortise lock or tubular latch with a 9/32" or 7mm square hole in it.

Dimensions:
 > Turnpiece is 1-1/2" tall.
 > Rosette is 1-1/2" diameter and fastens to the door with 2 screws.
 > Spindle is 2-1/2" long.
 > Spindle is 9/32" square and is threaded 3/8-20.

Spindle has a taper slot for slide on knobs.

Provided with two 1" long screws.
