This product is especially for very old antiques which need a feeder polish to maintain the wood.
Conservators Choice Beeswax Polish contains no silicones or petroleum distillates and is safe for use on all antique oil finishes, spirit varnishes, and varnish finishes.
Contains oil of turpentine and other natural oils and waxes.

Outstanding results on solid oak 100% custom crafted kitchen cabinets installed in our kitchen in roughly 1990. Well maintained over the years with Howard's Products. This year I just needed something better. Conservator's exceed expectation. After addressing some high-touch areas lightly with 400 grit sand paper, then applying additional stain (Watco Danish Oil Finish -medium walnut) this Conservators product when applied with 0000 steel wool provided a finish nearly as good as the original lacquer applied. Given all the locations in our home of Oak and Maple, more product was ordered. Thank you for the great delivery service and the chemists (or whomever) that developed this product.

This is the same formula my mom used on her furniture and antiques. I use it on my furniture now and it does an amazing job. After continued use it creates an almost inpenetrable finish on wood --- perfect on my dining and end tables. So glad I found this product.
