    This door closer impresses me as being a small, high quality product. I was disappointed, however, when I went to install it with the parallel arm option on the inside of my new wooden storm door. Unfortunately, the top rail of the door was not wide enough to accommodate the closer. I opted, then, to mount it outside. The door opens out under a porch, so rain will not be an issue. I am hoping that the cold will not adversely affect the hydraulic functioning.
