Extra Short Baseboard Door Stop 1-1/2"

I needed short doorstops, and these fit the bill. They're sturdy - more of a commercial look than typical home doorstops. The finish (satin nickel) isn't bad. Wish the bumper was white, not dark grey. Only complaint is that the 'screw' is just a threaded rod, wood screw thread to go into molding and machine screw where it goes into the door stop. So you have to rotate the door stop to screw it in to the moulding, rather than having a screw head to tighten. Also, if you want to remove it, the door stop unscrews from the threaded rod, leaving the rod in the molding. Now you need pliers to get the rod out of the molding, which trashes the machine screw threads. So single use only - no moving it if you don't like the location. Would have preferred a design where you pull off the rubber bumper and there's the screw head.

I chose Kilian Hardware because 1) they had the hard-to-find item I was looking for, and 2) I loved the fact that they really were a funky, old-fashioned type hardware store. Their service was terrific - long may they prosper!
