Ives No. 066 Small Casement Fastener

Smaller size casement (hinged) window fastener. Base size of piece with handle: 1-9/16" x 29/32". Can also be used to hold a cabinet door shut. Projection of handle from surface is 1-1/4".

Illustrated from left to right, Mortise Strike, Rim Strike, & Surface Strike.

Mortise strike is mounted in the window stop. Mortise strike is normally used for single outswinging windows.

Rim strike is used where frame is flush with window. Rim strike may be used if frame has decorative beading preventing use of surface strike. Screws are concealed with rim strike.

Surface stike is used where frame is flush with window. Screws are visible with surface strike.
