Rabbeted Narrow Backset Traditional Matte Black Brass Mortise Entry Lock

This rabbeted narrow backset mortise entry set is complete and features stunning traditional matte black solid brass trim. It has a key on the outside and a thumbturn on the inside. This set is commonly used on delicate french doors with very narrow stiles, but it can also be used on rabbeted single doors.

The backset is 46 mm or 1.81 inches. This set is recommended for doors 1-3/8" thick.

Trim measures 9-3/8" tall by 1-11/16" wide. Lever measures 4.5" long. Projection is 2-11/16". Standard 1/2" rabbet depth. Lock case requires 2-1/8" mortise depth x 5/8" wide x 4-1/4" tall. Face plate is 7/8" wide by 6" tall. Strike plate is 7/8" wide by 6" tall without lip. Lip is 3" tall and extends 3/4" from center of door. Backset is 46mm (1.81"). Hub is 8mm on the square. Hub is 47.5mm from the profile cylinder c to c.

Includes exterior trim, interior trim, spindle, screws, profile cylinder, two schlage-compatible keys, hex key, 46 mm backset rabbeted mortise lock, and strike plate.

To determine handing, stand on the exterior side of the door and find which side the hinges are on. This is the door handing. For example, when standing in the hall outside an office, the hinges are on the left side of the door. This is a left hand door.
