Please note: screen and storm windows and lamps and chandeliers are too fragile to ship. The services below are primarily for local customers.

Vacuum Services

Prices may vary depending on parts required.

  • Miele canister vacuum service (cleaning + new filters): $35.00

  • Miele upright vacuum service (cleaning + new filters): $45.00

  • Miele canister vacuum (not turning on): $75.00

  • Fix vacuum clog (no suction): $25.00

Lock & Rekey Services

Add $1.00 to $4.00 or more for non-standard pinning or other difficulties.

  • Rekey cylinder (with original key): $10.00

  • Pick cylinder and rekey: $12.00

  • Master key cylinder (keys present + lock purchased): $12.00

  • Master key cylinder (keys present, no lock purchased): $15.00

  • Pick cylinder and master key: $15.00

  • Make new skeleton key (lock present): $40.00 - $50.00 minimum

Sharpening Services

Prices may vary by item.

  • Kitchen knife sharpening: $0.50 per inch

  • Scissors: $5.00 minimum

  • Garden pruners: $6.00 minimum

  • Garden loppers: $7.00 minimum

  • Hedge shears: $7.00 minimum

  • Machete: $8.00 minimum

  • Rotary mower: $30.00 minimum

Battery Replacement

Battery sold separately.

  • Replace coin battery (watch, hearing aid, remote, etc.): $3.00

Window & Screen Repair

Prices vary depending on size and complexity.

  • Rescreen window: $15.00 minimum

    • Wood frame: Add $10.00 minimum

  • Rescreen door: $25.00 minimum

    • Wood frame: Add $10.00 minimum

  • Make new screen (not available with clips): $45.00 minimum

  • Replace glass in storm window: $25.00 minimum

    • If glazing is required: Add $30.00 minimum per pane

  • Replace tempered glass or plexiglass: $40.00 minimum

    • If glazing is required: Add $30.00 minimum per pane

  • Repair insulated unit: $90.00 minimum

    • With grids: $120.00 minimum

Electrical Services

Prices vary due to required materials and complexity.

  • Repair lamp, sconce, or chandelier with new socket and cord:

    • Table lamp: $35.00 minimum per socket

    • Floor lamp: $35.00 minimum per socket

    • Sconce: $40.00 minimum per socket

    • Chandelier: $40.00 minimum per socket

    • Thumb switches, rotary switches, felt bottoms, body repair, mounting hardware, chain, and other parts cost extra.
