First Bell System telephone with the bell built into the base.

Introduced in 1937.

Prior to this all Bell phones required a bell box mounted on the baseboard. This phone changed that to one compact unit which was the standard phone in the USA for over 20 years.

Totally rebuilt. Works with all answering machines, fax machines, modems, etc.

Complete with modular cord, ready to plug in.
