1-3/4" Backset Single-Sided Small Bore Deadbolt

For doors with narrow stiles, we are now offering 1-3/4" backset single-sided small bore deadbolts.

Requiring only a 1-1/2" deep, 1.5" diameter bore hole in the face of the door (and a 1" diameter bore from the edge of the door), this deadbolt allows you to preserve wood when compared to standard deadbolts. Especially for doors with thin stiles, keeping as much wood as possible is important to maintain the strength of the door. This deadbolt will not fit standard pre-drilled doors.

This deadbolt is for use on balcony doors, exterior doors that you do not enter from, and other doors that must lock from the inside only. This deadbolt features a thumbturn on the inside of the door and a heavy duty deadbolt latch on the edge of the door. Nothing is mounted on the exterior of the door. This deadbolt does not take a key.

This deadbolt is available in traditional and contemporary styles to suit a variety of interiors. Finish options include polished brass, unlacquered; polished brass, lacquered; oil-rubbed bronze; black; satin nickel; and polished chrome.

Escutcheon measures 2" diameter x 1.25" projection (traditional) or 1" projection (contemporary).

Includes: dust box, strike plate, 1-3/4" backset latch, escutcheon with thumbturn, screws, internal components, left hand stabilizer, and right hand stabilizer. You will only use either the left hand or the right hand stabilizer, depending on the handing of your door. Both are included.
