    7/8" Copper Plated Steel Nails

    I used 7/8" copper plated steel nails. The bronze nails could not handle the hardness of old heart pine. These worked great. Furthermore, I made a flat 3-1/2 board with lines laid out 1-1/4" apart, perpendicular to the board's length. This allowed me to pre-punch nail indentations for consistency and accuracy in installing spring bronze. Used needle nose pliers to hold the nails before striking.

    great product. nails do not fold over or bend when i nail them into the doorframe, like the other nails you get from amazon and others. also great value and bang for the buck! the big box stores could not come anywhere near the benefits of this purchase.
