Bronze Panic Interlocking Threshold

This solid bronze threshold is designed for use with outswinging doors in panic hardware applications. In this setup, the interior face of a 1-3/4" thick door will sit 1.67" from the interior edge, while the exterior face will sit 0.17" from the exterior edge of the threshold.

In addition to its panic hardware function, this threshold also features an interlocking hook profile. The hook in the bronze extrusion engages with a spring bronze hook strip (included) nailed to the bottom of the door, creating a mechanical seal that offers superior protection against wind, air infiltration, sound, pests, and drafts.

While intended for outswinging doors with panic hardware, this threshold can also be used with inswinging doors in non-panic applications.
