This is the perfect deadbolt for a narrow stile door.
1-3/4" Backset.
Fits 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick doors. Can accommodate even thicker doors with additional parts. Specify your door thickness in the comments section at checkout if you have a thicker door.
Fits stiles as narrow as 3".
Requires a 1-1/2" hole through the door. Requires an edge boring of 1". Faceplate measures 2-1/4" high x 1-1/8" wide. Optional spacer (included) for 1-3/8" thick doors. Exterior cylinder ring measures 2" diameter with a projection of 5/8".
With thin door ring the projection on the exterior is 0.900".
Interior turn plate measures 2" diameter with a projection of 1.07".
Includes strike plate and dust box.
Standard Schlage compatible keyway. Includes 2 keys.

Ok y'all. I have a 25 year old house, that is in amazing shape, and needed a 'short backset' deadbolt that is nearly impossible to find. I say nearly, because, Kilians exists on this planet. But this isn't about a hard to find product. It's about an even more rare thing. CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will gladly pay more for better service (But I didn't have to because again, Kilians exists). Here's what they stand for: 1. They actually care about your project 2. They WILL NOT sell you something that won't work 3. They give expert advice 4. They respond to your questions (either by PHONE or email). With a ton of options out there, go where your money/order/time is appreciated. It still exists on this planet...At Kilians. Order was real easy to place on-line. Received multiple email updates on order including shipping. My order shipped quickly and arrived in a timely fashion. I only wish there were some instructions that came with it. I was able to figure it out no problem but others may struggle. Killian was the ONLY place to find a hard to locate item.
