Custom Backset Deadbolt

This custom backset deadbolt is made to your specified length, providing a solution for non-standard door preparations where standard backsets will not fit. Available in a wide range of backsets, this latch is built to order for your exact application.

Compatibility

• Backsets under 2": Compatible with Emtek single cylinder non-electronic deadbolts
• Backsets 2" and longer: Compatible with Emtek single and double cylinder deadbolts (not electronic models)
• May work with other brands, but only tested with Emtek deadbolts

Important Installation Notes

• Requires a 1" bore hole on the edge of the door
• The installation hole must be drilled very straight to ensure proper operation
• The backset should slide easily into the installation hole
• Do not tap the backset into place. This is likely to cause damage or breakage

Dimensions & Function

• Backset: Distance from edge of door to center of bore hole
• Deadbolt extends 1.14" beyond the backset measurement into the door
