Olive Knuckle Hinges

Normally installed so that only the "Olive Knuckle" is visible when the door is closed. Olive knuckle hinges are handed. To determine handing, stand with your back to the exterier of the door, which is the hall side, outside of the building, or outside of a bathroom of closet. If the hinge is on you right, it is right handed, and if the hinge is on your left, it is left handed.
Hinges up to 3" are intended for cabinets and small windows, while hinges 4" and over are intended for doors. The larger olive knuckle hinges are wide throw, allowing a door to open 180 degrees and clear moldings more easily.
