This 1/8" wide x 0.03" thick spring steel is commonly used for restoring or repairing antique mortise locks.

Made from high-carbon spring steel, this material is somewhat brittle and can typically be cut by bending it back and forth at a right angle until it breaks cleanly. While it holds its shape well, it can also be gently reformed to add small curves when necessary.

Took a week to come by the mail, but after several attempts, I was able to make it work in my antique Harvard mortise lock. Thank you.
