1-1/4" Backset Passage Latch

This 1-1/4" backset passage latch provides a solution for narrow stile doors, where standard latches won’t fit. It can be used with both knobs and levers, making it a flexible solution for specialty and restoration applications.

The latch requires a 28° rotation to retract the nosebolt and features a hub that fits an 8mm square spindle.

Available in Polished Brass, Oil-Rubbed Bronze, and Satin Nickel finishes.

Compatibility

• Works with Emtek passage sets with the following modifications:
  • Replace the Emtek die-cast spindles with a solid spindle for proper engagement
  • Remove the inward-bent tab on the strike plate
    • This ensures full contact with the nosebolt, which has a plastic center with metal ends, reducing wear over time
• May be compatible with other brands, but only tested with Emtek
• Can also be used with some storm doors
  • Includes a spindle for storm door use
