Killian has all kinds of things that the owner of a 100-year-old house might need--things that one cannot easily find elsewhere. The website is helpful; packing is careful; shipping is prompt. My only wish: that they'd put even more of their merchandise on the website.

A virtual old time hardware store. They have many items that you just can't find anywhere else. Their prices are fair but there service and stock is over the top. I will be purchasing from them in the future.

My husband and I wanted to put weather stripping around our front door.........not the cheap foam kind that is now found in most stores........we wanted the brass kind that we remembered from our childhood.........the kind that really worked and lasted for decades, if not centuries. We found a couple of sites that offered what we were looking for, but the sites were full of drawings, not actual pictures of the products, and without pictures it was extremely difficult to know if we had picked the right product............at Killian we found an easy to use website with lots of color pictures arranged in an easy use format. We ordered and were surprised at how cheaply the order was shipped.........and when it arrived it was packaged as though they were shipping us the Mona Lisa !! The weather stripping is exactly what we were looking for and it also looks exactly like the picture on their website. We are very pleased with all aspects of this transaction and hope to shop with Killian again.

I recently purchased some spring bronze weatherstripping for my antique house. I could have done a little better on price, however the installation tips and product on their website, more than made up for the pennies I could have saved. My purchases came in a very timely manner and included a personal contact name and number for information and future orders. I have passed their web information on to other friends and family (as well as my contractor) and would not hesitate to do so again in the future. A very positive shopping experience!
