Owning and restoring a 1920s bungalow has been a challenge. Local hardware stores and home outlets look just look at me funny when I ask for storm window operators, sash weights, and especially old-style zinc weatherstrip for my windows. Occasionally, I get lucky a find a dust-covered old package on a back shelf or in a local salvage place - but never the quantity or quality of hardware that I need to restore my home. I feel extremely fortunate to have discovered Killian Hardware. Browsing the selection of hardware and weatherstrip, I've been able source affordable and high-quality parts for my home. Most of this stuff is simply not available anywhere else. I've purchased and installed over a dozen of their quality storm and sash operators. I've purchased their zinc weatherstrip pieces as part of my period window restoration project. All items have been carefully packed and sent in quality shipping boxes and tubes. I highly recommend Killian as a source of hardware for your period home!
