Architectural Bronze Adjustable Mortise Astragals With Casing

This mortise architectural bronze astragal installs on the edge of a door to create an adjustable seal. The protrusion can be fine-tuned by loosening or tightening screws along its length, ensuring a perfect fit for your specific application.

On French doors, one astragal is installed on each door, with the PemkoPrene meeting a flat surface at the center between the doors to form a seal. For French doors with smaller gaps, a single astragal may be used. This astragal can also sometimes be used on single doors and is available as either:

• A set of two astragals
• A single astragal with PemkoPrene insert

The PemkoPrene effectively blocks drafts, dust, moisture, insects, light, and sound while maintaining smooth, quiet door operation with minimal friction.

Shown in standard mill finish, which will develop a natural antique patina over time. Also available in polished unprotected brass, satin brass, antique brass, light oil-rubbed bronze, and dark oil-rubbed bronze finishes.
