Killian is one of the great hardware stores still in existence in the United States. Killians got that way by being ahead of its customer base. In their case that meant stocking home repair items that were unobtaiable anywhere else for the Victorian homes that fill the Chestnut Hill area of Philadelphia. Hillers would be totally lost without Killians. I know. I was one of those who relied on Killians for nearly forty years, until we moved away from Philadelphia 17 years ago. I still shop there when visiting Philadelphia. So it was with jubillation that I found Killians on the web. And guess what? Its the same service and the same availability of the unavailable that all Hillers expect of Killians, regardless of where they live. There are probably no price bargains at Killians. The bargain is that Killians have what you need in quality goods, however arcane, and when you need it. That makes them unique in this day and age.
