Custom Backset Privacy Latch With Rounded End, 28° Rotation, And Full Lip Strike

This custom backset privacy latch is built to your specified length, making it the ideal solution for non-standard door preparations where standard backsets won’t work. Available in a wide range of backsets, this latch is made to order for your exact application.

Features

• Its rounded end allows this latch to fit in a 2-1/8" bore hole drilled in the face of the door at the specified backset
• Privacy locking: Press the privacy pin into the latch to prevent rotation from the other side. Turn the hub from the inside, press the nosebolt in, or push the pin out to unlock the latch
• 28° rotation in either direction retracts the latch
• Provided with a Full Lip Strike

Compatibility

• Works with Emtek privacy sets
• May work with other brands, but only tested with Emtek

Important Installation Notes

• Requires a 1" bore hole on the edge of the door
• The bore must be drilled very straight for proper function
• The latch should slide easily into the bore hole
• Do not tap into place as this may cause damage or breakage

Function Options

• 28° rotation in either direction retracts the latch
• Available in lever by lever or knob by knob functions
• The lever by lever function uses a stronger spring

Dimensions

• Backset: Distance from edge of door to center of bore hole
• Hub: Accepts an 8mm square spindle or a 7.3mm diamond spindle. Call 215-247-0945 for other spindle sizes
