Made of solid Architectural Bronze (brass alloy), this interlocking threshold is the gold standard for sealing a door. When the door closes, the hook engages into the threshold’s groove, “interlocking” the door and threshold together. The result is a snug, reliable barrier that blocks drafts, rain, dust, and even light.

Finish Options

  • Mill Extruded Brass: The raw, unpolished brass straight from the mill. It may have blemishes, scratches, and other imperfections. It will tarnish beautifully with age to an antique brass.
  • Polished Unprotected Brass: A bright, mirror-like finish with a high shine: elegant and eye-catching. It will naturally tarnish unless regularly polished.
  • Dark Oil-Rubbed Bronze: A deep, rich brown-black finish with subtle warm undertones, perfect for a classic, aged look. This finish pairs beautifully with darker door hardware. A living finish, the dark oil-rubbed bronze will lighten where it is walked on and will naturally change with age.
  • Satin Brass, Unlacquered: A refined, sateen finish, with a smooth, understated sheen. Clean and elegant in appearance, this finish will naturally tarnish with age.

Hook Options

  • Supplied with your choice of:

    • 32B spring bronze J-hook strip, which attaches to the bottom of the door

    • 33B rolled brass L-hook strip, which attaches to the face of the door

Specifications

  • Dimensions: 4-1/2" wide × 15/16" tall

  • Hook setback: 7/8" from one edge, 2-1/4" from opposite edge

  • Includes fasteners.

  • Options: Available drilled or undrilled (note: drilling into polished, satin, or dark bronze finishes will damage the finish)

  • Sold by the threshold

This heavy-duty threshold is a long-term investment in comfort, energy efficiency, and durability, ideal for both restorations and new construction projects.
