Ives No. 42 Pocket Door Bolt
Ives
$18.72 - $21.52
Also known as a "Jamb Bolt", this is an unfamiliar piece of hardware to many. It is mounted on the jamb side of a pocket door. It works like a rocker switch. When pushed in, the other half pops out, physically preventing the door from returning into its pocket. A strike is provided to protect the jamb. Emergency release is accomplished by drilling a small hole in the door. Any thin object inserted into this hole will push the rocker back to the unlocked position.
Shown in Polished Chrome in both locked and unlocked positions.
Price breaks available starting at quantities of 10.

I needed to change my order after sending it on-line. I called the phone number listed in the order information. The response was prompt, courteous, and the change was implemented without difficulty. The order was shipped very quickly and the merchandise is very good. I couldn't get the parts I ordered anywhere here in San Diego.

I was looking for months for a very unusual piece of hardware for a pocketdoor. I found it in minutes on Kilian's webpage. I will check there first from now on when I need anything else. I also received my order in only 3 days. And the freight charges were next to nothing.
