Keyed Lockable Surface Bolt In Brass Brass Plated Steel

This lockable keyed surface bolt features decorative ornate styling and a bright brass plated steel finish.

Turning the key allows the bolt to be set in the extended or retracted position. When the key is removed, the bolt may no longer be moved, allowing a window, cabinet, or door to be securely locked.

The set includes a surface strike plate, an angle strike plate, and a universal strike plate with lip to meet a variety of installation conditions. The surface strike plate may be used for inset doors and windows that are flush with their frame. The angle strike plate is used on outswinging doors and windows. The lip goes around compression type weatherstrip and holds it in place. The lipped universal strike may be used on inswinging doors and windows that have a moulding around them as well as in other applications.

Also included are two copies of the key and screws. To mount the surface bolt, choose from jimmyproof screws for added security and phillips head screws for easy installation and removal. Also included are phillips head strike plate screws.
