To lock storm window securely, swing arms into upward position.
Storm windows can be easily removed and replaced with screens in summer. Adjuster remains attached to window.

Installation instructions:
> Fasten handle to inside of storm window centered on bottom rail.
> Screw on jamb bracket approximately 10" above sill with one edge even with storm window stop.
> Attach window adjuster to jamb bracket and screw to storm window.
> Tighten nuts to desired friction level.

We've owned old (80 ) year old houses for 35 years. Kilian's has always been the go to for the hardware and supplies for them that you just can't find at Ace or certainly not the big box stores. Their spring bronze weatherstripping is the best for double hung sashes. With that, good glazing and a good storm window, old windows are as good as just about any replacement window. They also take suggestions or products. Recently on an order I mentioned Sarco glazing compound and whiting powder as the 80 year solution to glazing wood windows. Within a day they were carrying it and emailed back a thanks. Very cool. Pros in every regard.

Owning and restoring a 1920s bungalow has been a challenge. Local hardware stores and home outlets look just look at me funny when I ask for storm window operators, sash weights, and especially old-style zinc weatherstrip for my windows. Occasionally, I get lucky a find a dust-covered old package on a back shelf or in a local salvage place - but never the quantity or quality of hardware that I need to restore my home.
