Mortise Lock Strikes

Purchased to match my vintage Corbin mortise lock, but discovered upon receipt that the cutout size and spacing would not work (my fault for not attempting to clarify those dimensions missing from the photo before ordering). Sadly, even without the sizing issue the metal is also very pliable to the point where I can bend the strike with one hand. And with the cost of shipping being as much as the purchase price it does not make sense to return as the cost of return shipping plus the restocking fee would cancel out any refund and still leave me in the red on this item. These are a great substitute for original (old) strikers in a house I’m rehabbing. They are a little smaller than the 1914 originals, but they fit and function just fine, plus they look great. Bonus: a very reasonable price and quick shipping from Kilian.
