Narrow 1" Backset Mortise Rack Bolt
The 1" backset size is discontinued.
Used to secure doors, windows or panels with narrow stiles.
Suitable for stile widths as small as 2" and 1-1/8" thick. Could be centered in doors up to 3-1/2" thick.
Requires bore of 5/8" diameter x 1-3/4" deep. Faceplate measures 3/4" x 1-5/8". Strikeplate, provided but not shown, also measures 3/4" x 1-5/8".
Throw of bolt is 3/8" with a 1/2" diameter.
Egg knob measures 1-3/16" tall with a 1-3/16" projection. Backplate diameter is 1-7/16".
Concealed ball bearing and spring provide a positive "click" in both the locked and unlocked positions.
Shown in 1"(25mm) backset. Also available in 1-1/4"(32mm), 1-3/4"(45mm) and 2-1/4"(57mm) backsets.
Shown in polished brass unlacquered.
Unfortunately, the 1" backset is discontinued. The 1-1/4" backset is still manufactured.
