Pullman Compact Side Mounted Tape Balance With Brass Tape

Compact side-mounted tape style sash balance supplied with 40" of brass tape for smooth operation and a classic appearance.
Operating similarly to a tape measure, the brass tape extends from the balance when tension is applied. The included hook attaches to the bottom corner of the sash, while the balance mounts flush within the window jamb near the top of the opening.
Eliminating the need for weight pockets, tape balances are frequently used in older homes with multiple double-hung windows installed side by side. They are also an excellent solution for retrofitting older windows that no longer have functioning counterbalance systems.
