From left to right are shown: Mortise, Surface, Rim, and Angle. Mortise strikes are used for single outswinging windows. Surface and Rim strikes are used for inswinging or for double outswinging windows. This Angle strike should be used only on windows with applied compression type weatherstrip. When the window is closed, the weatherstrip must be compressed to 3/16".
